1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using MantisRMM, Mantis360, or any other services provided by MantisOps, LLC ("MantisOps," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Customer" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Services

MantisOps provides:

  • MantisRMM — a cloud-based remote monitoring and management platform, including agent software for endpoint installation
  • Mantis360 — a cloud-based vulnerability scanning and identity-posture platform, including probe software for on-network installation

Each product is provisioned as an isolated tenant environment with dedicated infrastructure.

3. Account registration and security

3.1 You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.

3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

3.3 You must notify us immediately at support@mantisops.net if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3.4 MantisOps reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in suspicious or fraudulent activity, or in violation of the Acceptable Use Policy.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of the Services is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The AUP includes prohibitions on monitoring devices you do not own, unauthorized scanning, reverse engineering, and unlawful or harmful activity. Violations may result in suspension or termination.

5. Probe and agent software

5.1 The probe and agent software you install on your infrastructure is proprietary to MantisOps.

5.2 You may install and use the software solely on devices you own or are authorized to manage.

5.3 The software communicates with MantisOps servers over encrypted connections. It collects system metrics, network data, and status information as necessary to provide the Services (see the Privacy Policy for specifics).

5.4 You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authorization and, where required by law, employee notice before installing agent software on managed devices.

6. Data

6.1 Your data. You retain all ownership rights to data you provide or that is collected from your infrastructure ("Customer Data").

6.2 Our use. We process Customer Data only to provide and improve the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6.3 Data isolation. Each customer's data is stored in an isolated per-tenant database. We do not share Customer Data between tenants.

6.4 Deletion. Upon termination, we will delete Customer Data within 30 days, unless retention is required by law (e.g., payment records for 7 years).

7. Subscription, payment, and cancellation

7.1 Subscription fees are as described in your order or on our pricing page. Quantities are billed in increments of 10 (MantisRMM agents) and 50 (Mantis360 assets).

7.2 Subscriptions auto-renew on a monthly basis unless cancelled before the renewal date.

7.3 Refunds are provided at our discretion. Trial periods are provided at no charge.

7.4 If a payment fails, Stripe will retry automatically. After three failed attempts your account will be temporarily locked until a valid payment method is provided.

7.5 Quantity is adjusted upward automatically as your fleet grows past the subscribed step, with prorated charges billed immediately. Quantity is never automatically decreased — uninstalled agents or deleted assets do not reduce your billed quantity. You may increase quantity at any time via the Customer Portal at portal.mantisops.net/billing. To decrease quantity, email support@mantisops.net; the decrease takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle (no proration credit for the unused portion of the current cycle).

8. Service availability

We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the cloud platform. Planned maintenance will be communicated at least 24 hours in advance via our status page.

9. Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in the Services, including software, documentation, and branding, are and remain the exclusive property of MantisOps, LLC. These Terms do not grant you any rights except the limited license to use the Services during your subscription.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS." MANTISOPS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MANTISOPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MantisOps and its officers, members, and employees from any claims arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship with 30 days' written notice. We may terminate immediately for material breach, non-payment, or illegal activity.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in South Carolina, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court.

15. Changes to terms

We may modify these Terms with 30 days' notice via email to your registered address. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
